1. Plug the Mic-Line ECM into your device's headset jack*
2. Plug your microphone into the Mic-Line ECM (Green)
3. The iPhone will recognize that an external mic is connected and turn its internal mic off allowing you to record using the external microphone.
*You will need a lightning, USB-C, or USB adapter depending on your device. Please note: Apple brand lightning adapters DO NOT work on iPhones besides iPhone 12.
