Its really hard to find a two two pole adapter to a single four pole and the manufacturer of my gaming headphones charges to much to ship. These are an affordable option that provide excellent quality. Shipping was quick and reasonably priced. They click together very firmly and work well.

There's not much to say. I didn't see many such cables on the 'net, this is the only one I tried, and it works just fine. Having color-coded jacks is a plus. The price was reasonable. Delivery didn't take long.

This product is great! The 3.5mm headset (TRRS) plug is thin and fits easily into recessed jacks, the cables and jacks are sturdy and durable. I can connect my smartphone to my hearing aids with this product using their DAI input and a lapel microphone. This product also makes for an awesome smartphone hands free car kit by allowing the headphone connection to go to the aux in on my car stereo and the mic connection to go to a lapel microphone cliped on to my visor. This item also allows me to connect my PC headset to my smartphone. How did I ever get along without it.

Works nice and fast shipment. Would be nice to have it in a color other than pink.

Seems to work well......

Quality is good and shipping was fast.
The only bad news is the price : this cable is a little bit expansive!

I had considered building my own adapter, but I found that four-conductor 3.5mm plugs are somewhat difficult to find and expensive. Moreover, the bodies of these solder-type plugs are often too fat to fit into jacks that are recessed or into the openings of mobile phone cases. The Headset Buddy has a very slender plug that was designed to be used with phone cases.
The jacks on The Headset Buddy have a firm snap action that securely holds plugs in place. I have not owned the adapter long enough to see if the reliability issues that others have noted are real. I will take care never to pull on the Headset Buddy's cables, as they are thin.
The main idea I want to state in this review is that I think that the versatility of this product is understated. This adapter can be used not just with phones but also with many laptops that combine the headphone and microphone connections onto one jack. The adapter's green headset jack can be connected to the auxiliary audio input of a car radio, to the line input of a stereo system, or to computer speakers. The pink microphone jack can be connected to a variety of different types of microphones (a while back I found a tie-clip condenser mic, intended for use with laptop computers, that works like a champ).
The only reason that I did not give this product five stars is that I think the price is a bit high. Unfortunately, there aren't many other companies that make this type of adapter.

All of my old Dell laptops had separate ports for microphone and headset speakers. My new Dell has one port for both. After hours trying to find compatible headsets on Dell's site and 3 "Big Box" stores, I finally found Headset Buddy. It worked great with my existing headset / mic set, plus also plugs into my IPhone! The clarity is awesome, and the price can't be beat. A great product.

I have a Plantronics headset that has two plugs, one for headphones and one for microphone. My Lenovo thinkpad W510 has a jack that supports headphones with microphone. This adapter plugs into that fancy jack, and my headphone plugs connect to the adapter, resulting in a usable headset without having to use the USB adapter that came with the headset, that lacks linux drivers. The only improvement that I can think of is a 90-degree plug, so the wire isn't in the way of my mouse on the right side of the computer.
