I work remote a lot for work and we ditched our landline years ago. So I either had to be on speaker or use earbuds. This simple solution allowed me to use the the same headset I use in the office.
I work remote for my job and wanted an option to use my headset from work via my cell phone. This adapter works great, crystal clear and very easy to use, just plug and play. For the person who rated this as an "1", there are adjustments on the headset unit for the type of phone and volume. Usually you have to adjust that even for your landline phone unit. The setting was different than my work phone, but after adjusting the settings on the headset, it worked perfectly.
Similar to another post, I was able to get a hold of this product before its release in order to test it with my iPhone 6. I had an old corded headset that was designed to work with a land line at work (Cisco 7945). I wanted to see if there was a way to use the same headset with my iPhone using this adapter.
I was provided two adapters to test. I tried both with my iPhone 6 as well as with my wife's and our two iPads. Neither cord worked with any of the Apple products. There didn;t seem to be any connection on the 3.5mm jack side.
I like that Headsetbuddy found a product that meets this need, however, I can not recommend this product because of the lack of response with both units I tested.
Was fortunate enough to get a hold of this before it was released (no, I don't work for the company...). I have a Samsung Galaxy 6 and an old Hello Direct Bluetooth headset that was originally designed to work with a land line (GN 9330). Most of my day is in my office on the phone and this connector allows me to have a better connection between the headset and phone.
I would recommend this product especially at the price, it is worth it.
